Rankfield — Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026.
This policy covers the Starter and Pro plans, which are sold through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. For anything in it, write to hello@rankfield.io. It sits alongside the terms of service and the privacy policy.
1. What this covers
- Free. The free audit costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
- Starter and Pro. Paid subscriptions bought through Lemon Squeezy's checkout at the fixed prices shown when you choose a plan. This policy applies to them.
- A Pro free trial, when one is offered. The plans page and Lemon Squeezy's checkout state its length. Lemon Squeezy takes your card when the trial starts and makes the first charge when it ends, unless you cancel before then; cancel during the trial and you are not charged. One free trial per workspace: a workspace that has subscribed before is not offered another.
- Company. Sold directly by Rankfield under a separate written agreement and invoice, never through Lemon Squeezy's checkout. Its refund terms are in that agreement, not here.
2. Who handles a refund
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for Starter and Pro: it takes your payment, charges tax and issues your receipt, and it is the party that makes a refund. Its buyer terms (read 4 October 2026) say that:
- refunds are provided at Lemon Squeezy's sole discretion, case by case, and may be refused, and are refused where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse or other manipulative behaviour;
- there are no refunds on unused subscription periods;
- a subscription renews automatically until cancelled, and to cancel you should contact Lemon Squeezy at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period, giving your order number and the email you bought with; a cancellation takes effect at the next payment date;
- if you were charged sales tax, you may be entitled to a refund of the tax if you are registered for it in the country of purchase and the laws there permit it; you must contact Lemon Squeezy within 60 days of the purchase, and the refund is processed only once you provide a valid sales tax code;
- you should contact Lemon Squeezy before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer.
Rankfield does not promise a refund, or a refund window, beyond what Lemon Squeezy's terms provide. If those terms change, they govern, not this summary.
3. How to ask
Write to hello@rankfield.io with your order number and the email you bought with, and say what went wrong. We will tell you where your request stands and, where Lemon Squeezy is the one who decides it, pass it on. You can also contact Lemon Squeezy directly with the same details.
4. If Rankfield failed to deliver
If a technical problem on our side prevented or unreasonably delayed delivery of a plan you paid for, tell us. Lemon Squeezy's terms make replacement of the product or a refund of the price paid the remedy in that case, as Lemon Squeezy decides.
5. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the law of the place where you live, including any statutory right to cancel or to a refund that cannot be waived.
6. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top is the current version's.
