Rankfield — Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 October 2026.

These terms govern your use of rankfield.io ("Rankfield", "we", "us"). Rankfield is operated by our team. For anything in these terms, write to hello@rankfield.io. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it. If you use a Rankfield feature that relies on YouTube API Services, such as connecting a YouTube account, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

How we handle your data is in the privacy policy. How refunds work is in the refund policy.

1. What Rankfield is

You describe your business, optionally give us your website and social handles, and Rankfield returns a ranked list of video ideas with hooks, shot lists and the evidence behind each one. It is a recommendation service. It does not publish anything for you, post to your accounts or produce video.

2. Plans

  • Free. A free audit. Some parts of a result are shown in full and some are held back for paid plans.
  • Starter and Pro. Paid subscriptions, bought through Lemon Squeezy at the fixed prices shown when you choose a plan. What each plan includes is described on the plans page in your account.
  • Company. Offered on request, under a separate written agreement and invoice with Rankfield. It is never sold through Lemon Squeezy, and where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement wins.

We may change what a plan includes. If a change takes away something you already pay for, we will tell you before it applies to you.

3. Your account

Sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your email account secure. Tell us at hello@rankfield.io if you think someone else has used yours. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.

4. What you give us, and what we give you

  • You may only give us a website, handle or description that is your own, or a public account or post you want compared with yours. We read public pages and public posts. We do not ask for passwords and you must not send us any.
  • You keep whatever you own. You give us permission to use what you submit to produce your results and to run the service, as the privacy policy describes.
  • The ideas, hooks and shot lists in your results are yours to film and publish for your business. You may not resell Rankfield itself, or copy its results in bulk to build a competing service.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law, or use Rankfield to plan content that does;
  • submit someone else's account, site or data to get at what they have not made public;
  • try to get past usage limits, probe the service for weaknesses, or interfere with it or with other people's use of it;
  • use automated means to create accounts or to send requests at a volume a person could not;
  • share a sign-in with people outside your workspace beyond what your plan allows.

6. Paid plans and billing

Starter and Pro are sold by Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record. It takes your payment, charges the applicable tax and issues your receipt, and its own buyer terms apply to the purchase. We never see your card number. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are covered in the refund policy.

7. No warranty on results

Rankfield's ideas are recommendations based on the evidence it could read. They are not advice, and they are not a promise of views, followers, leads or sales. We do not guarantee that a result is complete or correct, that the public data it relied on was accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service and its results are provided as is, to the extent the law allows.

8. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Rankfield is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing here limits the rights a consumer has under the law of the place where they live.

9. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Rankfield at any time and can ask us to delete your account at hello@rankfield.io; the privacy policy says what is deleted and when. A paid subscription ends as the refund policy and Lemon Squeezy's terms describe.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 5 or these terms, that puts the service or other people at risk, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to, we will tell you why. Sections 4, 7, 8 and 11 continue after an account ends.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top is the current version's. Material changes will be signposted on the site, and using Rankfield after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the place where Rankfield's operator is established, and disputes go to the courts of that place, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the place where you live.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: hello@rankfield.io.
